VOTE NOW through March 2 - for drug-prevention song written by three MHS students

GO NOW AND VOTE ONLINE! http://shoutdowndrugs.com/contestants/profile/303/ Vote as often as you like.

The New Jersey Shout Down Drugs Music Contest challenges high school students to create original songs to deliver the prevention message to their peers through music. The song that receives the most votes in the first round of the contest will earn an automatic spot in the Prevention Concert. The top three winners compete for one of three music contracts worth $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000 to perform their songs during the year at events around the state.

Kyle, Dani, & Jess comprise the band Powdered Elephants and hope fans will vote online for their original song, “Monster” by visiting the website and voting at http://shoutdowndrugs.com/contestants/profile/303/ from February 16 - March 2

Powdered Elephants is a pop alternative music group with members Kyle Farscht (writes the music and lyrics, produces and plays keyboard) Dani Benna (the lead vocalist) and Jess Yeager (writes lyrics, plays guitar and ukulele).  Together they want to create a positive mindset and influence teens to not use drugs.
